"She Gods of Shark Reef" is a 1958 adventure film about two brothers who become shipwrecked and find themselves on a very strange and unique island. One of the brothers is a wanted criminal and will stop at nothing to avoid capture. After arriving, they quickly find out that the island is devoid of men and inhabited by a group of women who dive for pearls and worship a shark god! Paradise is lost when one of the brothers enters into a forbidden love with a native and needs to flee the island with her in order to stay together.
Meanwhile the other brother gives in to his criminal urges on the island. This is a quick film to watch at only an hour and two minutes. A great Corman public domain gem to check out!
